What is Pilates?
Pilates is a personal fitness system that emphasizes correct alignment, abdominal strength, and efficient muscle use. It is a tool to support ease, awareness and fluidity of movement. The emphasis on breathing and synergistic use of muscles creates a workout that energizes and revitalizes.
What Pilates will do for you!
When consistently working muscles in their muscle systems rather than isolating them you will notice improved co-ordination, balance, better body alignment, which brings better posture, improved body shape and the illusion of growing taller. You will also see increased flexibility, better muscle tone, and a lengthening of shortened compacted muscles. With all that amazing breathing you can enjoy greater mental alertness, renewed energy, and reduce stress.
Just remember that what you gain from Pilates is directly related to what you put into your practice, therefore with commitment and persistence the benefits are limitless.

Our Pilates Programs
At Pilates For Every Body we offer a studio with a welcoming environment, providing top quality instruction in a safe non-competitive atmosphere. Our client base is men and women currently ranging in age from 19 to 82 years old.
Our focus on flexibility, breathing & strength will give you your own unique workout to fit Every Body type and fitness level!
You will receive a very individualized and personal level of instruction not available elsewhere. You will not feel like a number coming to our studio!

On the Apparatus
Our classes are one hour in length and focus on the apparatus, including the reformer, chair and barrel. All of the equipment we use is high quality professional equipment from Coombs Bench Works.
We require that all new clients complete a set of four private sessions to develop an individualized Pilates program. After completing your private sessions you will have the option of continuing with private sessions or attending one of our group sessions (limited to a maximum of four students per session).

Matwork Classes
You will find our matwork classes are very intimate and personalized. The class size is limitied to a maximum of eight participants, to ensure that everyone receives the proper instruction and support they require.
About our Instructors
Our instructors Mandy and Melissa each have completed over 400 hours of professional Pilates training. They are dedicated to the health and personnel growth of their clients as well as their own professional development through ongoing training.
